Groundbreaking OST. Wohnen am Stadttor
Construction starts in Ulrich-Lichtenstein-Gasse
With the traditional groundbreaking ceremony on 27 November, the official start of construction for the project “Ost. Wohnen am Stadttor“of the VENTA Real Estate Group and 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG. In addition to representatives of the two developers, the mayor of Graz, Siegfried Nagl, and other political celebrities, as well as the construction company Porr, celebrated this symbolic act. By the fourth quarter of 2019 around 220 apartments are to be built on the border of the pulsating Jakomini district.
On the approx. 1.1 hectare property along the Conrad-von-Hötzendorf-Straße and the Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Gasse four buildings interconnected by the ground floor zone will be realized. In total, around 10,000 m² of living space and just under 2,500 m² of commercial space will be available after completion. Already, the future local provider on the ground floor, the grocer Lidl Austria, is stuck.
Urban living with underground parking and green oases
The buildings consist of five or seven storeys. In order to meet the needs of urban urbanites for green oases in a central location, spacious open spaces and green spaces are as much a concept as a two-storey underground car park with approx. 280 parking spaces. The range of apartments is versatile with two to four-room condominiums, living areas of approximately 32 to over 100 m² and gardens, terraces or balconies. In addition, there are attractive offers for the use of real estate as a retirement home.
Sounding names for every building
Each of the four structures is assigned the name of the surrounding street. The components Johann and Sebastian appeal above all to singles, couples and young families who demand modern, energy-efficient and age-appropriate living space. Ulrich, named after Ulrich-Lichtenstein-Gasse, is very attractive to investors. The smallest component Bertha, bears the same name as the future Bertha von Suttner Platz, which is integrated into the overall project in cooperation with the city of Graz.
Through the realization of the project, in addition to high-quality living space for around 500 residents, the local infrastructure will be upgraded with a food market directly on the project area. This benefits not only the future residents, but the entire district sustainably.
